✨The only way to apply Decision Intelligence successfully is to put decision-centric approach in place.
“Decision Intelligence (DI) is a practical discipline that advances decision making by explicitly understanding and engineering how decisions are made and how outcomes are evaluated, managed and improved via feedback.” – Gartner.
However, there is a caveat.
💥Just knowing what DecisionIntelligence is and purchasing a Open Decision Intelligence Platform will not solve anything. Or even worse, just renaming your existing approach in Data and Analytics to “decision-centric” will not make any difference.
💣Decision-centric requires rethinking how organizations approach data ai analytics and, most importantly, business decisions.
To put this into practice, you need to integrate the Decision-Centric Approach in your data and analytics strategy.
What does this mean?
🚀It means you, as the CIO CDO CDAO, should prioritize business decisions and understand them by modeling them explicitly, which is as important as data strategy and governance.
It takes more than just acknowledging the decisions are important. It requires a practical guide and an approach.
